Service Authorization
Automotive locksmith work affects access to and control of a vehicle. We verify authority before work begins.
Who may authorize service
Service may be authorized by the registered owner or a person who can show clear permission from the owner, business, fleet, dealer, repair shop, rental company or other lawful controller. The person approving work must be legally able to enter the agreement.
Verification
We may request government-issued photo identification and current registration, title, rental agreement, fleet authorization or other reliable proof. Show documents through the secure method explained by dispatch or to the technician at the vehicle, not through the public estimate form.
Permission granted
By approving a work order, you authorize the described inspection and locksmith work. This may include vehicle entry, key decoding or cutting, key or fob programming, immobilizer procedures, broken-key extraction, deletion of missing keys when requested and supported, and reasonable testing.
Accurate disclosure
You must disclose known damage, electrical issues, prior programming attempts, aftermarket systems and any ownership or access restriction. We may document existing condition and completed work while excluding personal documents and unrelated details when practical.
Right to refuse
We will refuse or pause work when authorization is unclear, documents do not match, the location is unsafe, the requested act appears unlawful, or the vehicle cannot be serviced responsibly. Verification protects the owner, technician and public.
